Vembattur is the one of oldest growing Village in Sivgangia dt, this village comes under Manamaduri, and Thirupuvanam circle Tamilnadu India , This village have more than 10 temples. Very near citys are Madurai is 37 Km, Sivangngai 17 Km.Thirpachatie is 7 km, Manamaduri is around 14km. Near airiport is Madurai International airport, Vaigai river is the source of drinking water. Vempatture have the very old post office, and SBI bank from more than 25 Years, Vembattue have the Government Hr Secondary school, Collage is going to come this village very soon. Hospital is also there but well established hospital is going to come. But lot of small small business is over there for this village. But main income is agro. Cow, Goat, Sugar cane.


Shri Sundaraja Perumal with Sridevi and Bhodevi temple is a nice and very auspicious place to see,we have Sanakara Samajam,which conducts Sanakar Jayanthi for more than 95 years and Sri Rama navami for more than 85 years.
